Pop Bubbles Controls and HUD

There is no WASD skill tree. The whole game is a right-side panel plus on-screen bubbles.

Controls and HUD

Pop Bubbles for UGC 2 is an incremental plaza, not an obby. Movement exists so you can stand still, jump for a quest, or walk to a quieter corner. Points come from the HUD. This page is the map of every button you actually use: Codes, Quests, Spin, Shop, potions, and the top-bar toggles added in Update 3.1. Pair it with getting started on your first session and with quests and spin once the timers matter.

There is no Trello of hotkeys. Cloud Coalition did not publish a controls sheet. What follows is the live UGC 2 layout as players and patch notes describe it. If a YouTube from 2024 shows a different column, trust the current place, not the thumbnail.

Movement and camera

Default Roblox movement still works: WASD or the mobile stick to walk, Space to jump, Shift to sprint if your device maps it. You do not need parkour. Jump quests after 3.1 ask for 500 jumps, not 1,000 — mash Space under a low ceiling. Camera is listed as unsupported on the experience page, so do not expect a selfie mode. Voice chat is also unsupported. The plaza is social only in the sense that 16 avatars share a lobby while each person pops their own on-screen bubbles.

If you came from a mobile bubble-shooter named Pop Bubbles, there is no aim, no color match, no combo meter. Click the bubble, take the points, wait for the next spawn.

Right-side column (the real controls)

Most layouts put the useful buttons on the right of the HUD:

  • Codes — opens Enter Code Here plus Redeem. Full paste rules live on how to redeem. The list itself is the codes hub.
  • Quests — five-minute jobs: jump, stand still, pop N bubbles, playtime. Details on quests and spin.
  • Spin — free wheel about every three minutes. Do not spend points to roll.
  • Shop / UGC — the catalog. Buy flow is how to get UGC. Live tags beat any tier list table.

If you cannot find Codes, you are probably inside Shop or a potion menu. Close the overlay. The column does not move to the left on PC; it can feel cramped on a phone, which is why mobile scripts pages warn about tiny tap targets, not a missing keyboard.

Top bar after Update 3.1

The Cloud Coalition group shout for Pop Bubbles for UGC 2 — Update 3.1 added a night mode toggle on the top bar. Use it if the plaza glare makes the HUD unreadable. The same patch says bubbles now mute when hidden. If you hide the bubble layer so you can watch a video on the other monitor, you should not keep hearing pops. Hiding bubbles does not pause point grants from playtime or from quests that do not require a click — it only stops the click targets and their sound. Read the patch on Update 3.1 before you assume hide equals AFK farm.

Button sizes in the UGC shop and potion menu were enlarged in that same publish. If an old screenshot shows tiny Buy tiles, you are looking at a pre-3.1 capture.

Potions menu

3.1 also gave potions a background so the menu is readable. Community videos for UGC 2 show a loop where quests feed gems or tokens that buy potions, which then accelerate the next stretch of popping. Treat potions as a short buff, not a second currency that replaces points. Points still buy UGC. Potions do not grant Star Headphones. If a Shop overlay and a potion overlay fight for the same corner, close one. The farming page stays about points per hour; potions are a HUD detail, not a new combat system.

Settings people actually flip

Older Pop Bubbles videos mention a settings toggle that disables on-screen bubble popping so you only earn from other sources. That is a quality-of-life switch for players who hate clickers, not a cheat. After 3.1, hiding bubbles (and muting them) is the documented cousin of that idea. Do not hunt a “god mode” slider. There is none.

Graphics quality in the Roblox escape menu still applies. Drop it on a potato laptop if the plaza stutters; point rolls do not need shadows.

What is not a control

  • Gamepasses from the legacy place (Shorter Timer, Pop Bubbles Faster) belonged to legacy. Do not buy them expecting UGC 2 to honor a 2024 pass until Shop or the experience page says so.
  • Roblox Premium is not a HUD button. It is an account flag that 3.1 turned into a 25% points boost. That lives on premium boost, next to the free 10% group boost.
  • Executors are not part of the HUD. If you still want them, scripts is the warning page, not a hotkey.

First-session click order

  1. Confirm you are on UGC 2.
  2. Join Cloud Coalition, then rejoin the server (group boost).
  3. Open Codes, paste the codes list.
  4. Glance at Shop stock on limited stock.
  5. Leave Quests and Spin visible. Hide bubbles only if you understand you are giving up clicks.
  6. Toggle night mode if the plaza is too bright.

Keep this page next to getting started. The plaza never grows a skill tree. When a patch adds a toggle, it will show up here and on updates, not in a Trello.
